Haldeman Homme partnered with Mortenson Construction and BWBR Architects to build the brand new Russell Science Center at Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa. When Cornell College began the process of building a state of the art science facility, they wanted to create a multi-disciplinary teaching and research laboratory building that allowed for expanded teaching and research capabilities.
HHI recommended Cornell go with BedcoLab and CiF products, which were both new brands for them. To show them the benefits of these products, HHI brought the project team, including customer, architect, and contractor, to a recently completed project at Colorado State University. This gave the Cornell College decision makers a chance to see and feel the quality and construction of the casework and fume hoods. It demonstrated the product capabilities and customer satisfaction, reassuring Cornell that their selection of products would provide them with years of return on their investment.
